Florida Appliance Pros
Service & Payment Policy
Effective Date: August 1, 2026
At Florida Appliance Pros, we believe in honest communication, transparent pricing, and professional service. This Service & Payment Policy explains how our diagnostic and repair services are provided and how payment is handled.
By scheduling an appointment, requesting service, authorizing diagnostic or repair work, electronically accepting this policy, checking any acknowledgment box during checkout, or submitting payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Service & Payment Policy.
1. Scope of Services
Florida Appliance Pros provides professional diagnostic, repair, maintenance, installation, and related appliance services for residential and commercial customers.
Our technicians perform services using commercially reasonable skill, care, training, and industry-standard practices based upon the information reasonably available during the service appointment.
Because every appliance, failure, operating condition, and repair circumstance is different, Florida Appliance Pros cannot guarantee that any appliance can be repaired or that any particular repair outcome will be achieved.
2. Appointment Reservation
Prepayment of a diagnostic fee reserves a service appointment and authorizes Florida Appliance Pros to dispatch a technician to the requested service location.
Appointments remain subject to technician availability, weather conditions, safety considerations, and other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
3. Customer Access
Customer agrees to provide safe and reasonable access to the appliance during the scheduled appointment.
The appliance must be reasonably accessible for inspection, testing, diagnosis, and repair.
If the technician is unable to perform the diagnostic because of conditions outside Florida Appliance Pros' control—including inaccessible appliances, disconnected utilities, unsafe conditions, restrained animals, or inability to access the property—the diagnostic fee may still apply to compensate for technician travel and reserved appointment time, except where prohibited by applicable law.
4. $99 Professional Diagnostic Service
A $99 diagnostic fee is charged for each appliance evaluated.
The diagnostic service includes, as reasonably necessary:
Technician travel
Professional inspection
Mechanical and electrical testing
Operational testing
Troubleshooting
Diagnostic evaluation
Identification of reported issues to the extent reasonably possible
Repair recommendations
Preparation of a repair estimate when applicable
The diagnostic fee is credited toward the recommended repair if the repair is authorized:
during the technician's visit; or
within forty-eight (48) hours following completion of the diagnostic service.
After 48 hours, the diagnostic service has been completed and the diagnostic fee remains earned.
5. Nature of the Diagnostic Service
A diagnostic evaluation is a stand-alone professional service.
The diagnostic fee compensates Florida Appliance Pros for:
technician travel;
reserved appointment time;
professional labor;
technical expertise;
specialized diagnostic equipment;
inspection;
testing;
troubleshooting;
evaluation; and
repair recommendations.
The diagnostic fee is payment for professional services performed and is not payment for a successful repair.
Once the diagnostic evaluation has been completed, the diagnostic fee has been earned and is generally non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
6. Authorization to Diagnose
Customer authorizes Florida Appliance Pros to inspect, test, operate, access internal components, remove panels, perform electrical and mechanical testing, and reasonably disassemble portions of the appliance when necessary to diagnose the reported issue.
Customer understands that diagnostic procedures are intended to identify the reported problem but may not reveal every existing or future defect.
7. Repair Authorization
No repair work beyond the diagnostic evaluation will be performed without customer authorization.
Authorization may be provided by:
Written signature
Electronic signature
Telephone
Text message
Online approval
Stripe payment
Other reasonable methods of communication
By approving a repair estimate, Customer authorizes Florida Appliance Pros to perform the approved work and charge the agreed amount.
8. Nature of Appliance Repair
Appliance repair involves diagnosing and servicing complex electrical, electronic, mechanical, plumbing, refrigeration, gas, and computerized systems.
Customer acknowledges that appliance repair consists of professional diagnosis, testing, repair attempts, installation of authorized replacement parts, calibration, verification, and related labor.
Payment is for the professional diagnostic and repair services requested and performed—not solely for achieving a particular repair outcome.
9. No Guarantee of Repair
Not every appliance can be repaired.
Repairability depends upon numerous factors, including but not limited to:
Appliance age
Overall condition
Hidden failures
Internal damage
Water damage
Fire damage
Corrosion
Electrical damage
Prior repairs
Missing components
Manufacturer defects
Safety concerns
Discontinued replacement parts
Manufacturer design limitations
Economic feasibility
Florida Appliance Pros does not guarantee:
every appliance is repairable;
replacement parts remain available;
replacement of one failed component will restore the appliance to full operation; or
additional unrelated components will not fail before, during, or after repair.
A determination that an appliance cannot be repaired does not mean the diagnostic service was unsuccessful.
10. Additional Problems
Certain appliance failures cannot reasonably be identified until additional testing or partial disassembly has been completed.
Customer understands that:
additional failures may be discovered;
additional defective components may require replacement;
additional labor may become necessary; and
repair estimates may change.
No additional billable work will be performed without customer authorization.
11. Parts Policy
Replacement parts may consist of OEM, manufacturer-supplied, aftermarket, rebuilt, or remanufactured components depending upon availability.
Many parts are ordered specifically for Customer's appliance.
Once replacement parts have been ordered:
Special-order parts are generally non-refundable.
Deposits paid toward ordered parts are generally non-refundable.
Manufacturer warranties apply only to the extent provided by the manufacturer.
12. Labor Policy
Labor charges compensate Florida Appliance Pros for professional services actually performed.
Labor includes, but is not limited to:
diagnosis;
testing;
troubleshooting;
disassembly;
installation;
calibration;
repair;
reassembly; and
verification.
Labor is earned as the services are performed.
Labor charges are generally non-refundable solely because:
a repair attempt was unsuccessful;
additional failures were later discovered;
replacement parts became unavailable; or
the appliance was later determined to be beyond economical or technical repair.
13. Payment
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due immediately upon completion of authorized services.
Customer agrees to pay all authorized:
Diagnostic fees
Labor charges
Replacement parts
Applicable taxes
Additional approved services
Florida Appliance Pros accepts approved payment methods including major credit cards, debit cards, ACH transfers, cash, and other approved payment methods.
14. Service Documentation
To accurately document services performed, Florida Appliance Pros may maintain records including:
Appointment confirmations
Technician arrival and departure times
Photographs
Videos
Appliance model and serial numbers
Diagnostic findings
Repair recommendations
Estimates
Customer approvals
Signed acknowledgments
Stripe payment confirmations

Payment records

Telephone recordings where permitted by law
Internal technician notes
These records may be used to verify services requested, authorized, performed, completed, and paid for.
15. Customer Concerns
If Customer has any concern regarding services provided, Customer agrees to promptly notify Florida Appliance Pros so we have a reasonable opportunity to review and address the matter.
We are committed to resolving concerns professionally whenever possible.
16. Payment Disputes
If Customer believes a billing error or service issue has occurred, Customer agrees to contact Florida Appliance Pros before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback so we have a reasonable opportunity to investigate and attempt to resolve the matter.
Nothing in this section waives or limits any rights Customer may have under applicable law or the rules of the payment method used.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, Florida Appliance Pros shall not be responsible for:
Pre-existing defects
Hidden damage
Manufacturer defects
Rust or corrosion
Water damage
Power surges
Cosmetic conditions existing before service
Improper prior repairs
Failure of unrelated components
Delays caused by manufacturers or suppliers
Parts availability
Circumstances beyond our reasonable control
18. Electronic Acceptance
Customer agrees that checking any acknowledgment box, electronically accepting this policy, approving repairs electronically, responding by text message or email, or submitting payment through Stripe or another payment processor constitutes a legally binding electronic acceptance of this Service & Payment Policy to the same extent as a handwritten signature.
19. Customer Acknowledgment
By scheduling service, authorizing diagnostic work, approving repairs, electronically accepting this policy, checking any required acknowledgment box, or submitting payment, Customer acknowledges and agrees that:
The $99 diagnostic fee is payment for professional diagnostic services, including technician travel, inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and repair recommendations.
The diagnostic fee is earned upon completion of the diagnostic service, regardless of whether the appliance is ultimately repairable.
The diagnostic fee will be credited toward the recommended repair if authorized during the technician's visit or within 48 hours.
Appliance repair outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
Some appliances cannot be repaired due to age, condition, hidden failures, unavailable parts, manufacturer limitations, safety concerns, or other factors beyond Florida Appliance Pros' control.
Additional defects may be discovered during diagnosis or repair and may require additional customer authorization.
Labor charges compensate Florida Appliance Pros for professional services actually performed and are not contingent upon achieving a successful repair.
Special-order parts are generally non-refundable once ordered.
Customer has had the opportunity to review this Service & Payment Policy before authorizing service or submitting payment and agrees to be bound by its terms.
